As the long-term care sector continued to grapple with staffing shortages, rising family expectations, and growing compliance demands this spring, one thing remained clear: communication had to evolve. Throughout the season, Evoke Health went on a national tour, contributing to key conversations and demonstrating how Engage⁺, its family and resident portal, is setting a new standard for communication in long-term and post-acute care.

From Toronto to Las Vegas, Engage⁺ was showcased as a purpose-built solution that empowered families, reduced staff workload, and supported regulatory compliance, without disrupting care workflows.

Why It Mattered

Manual communication systems continued to cost LTC homes hundreds of staff hours per month. Engage⁺ replaced scattered calls, emails, and faxes with a centralized, compliant platform accessible to staff and families in real-time.

Homes using Engage⁺ this spring reported:

  • 40% to 60% reduction in time spent on family communication
  • 90% family engagement rate
  • Improved staff morale and fewer complaints
  • Full compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act and Canadian LTC regulations

Looking Ahead

Whether through in-person events or virtual demos, Engage⁺ continued to spark a shift from reactive to proactive communication in long-term care. As homes looked for ways to modernize without adding to staff burden, Engage+ provided a clear path forward.
